I was wishing for 2 lbs ... but I'll take it! So that means I've lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks. Yaaaaaay!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's funny because last week I went to the gym only twice, and I did 70 minutes of running total. This week I went three times and did 120 minutes of running. So what am I learning here? To not exercise as much to lose more weight? How twisted is that! Tell me it's not true.  Am I just building muscle?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My goal was to be around 156-158 before I go back to school and I have 6 weeks to do so, so as long as I keep on the right track like I am now, I'll be fine. I'm loving how on-plan I am and I have no wish to fall off the wagon now. Baby steps. I'm not going to look at the whole big picture at once. As Cali said, set small goals because they're easier to reach.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So this week's goal - run for 40 minutes 3 times a week. I did it last week, and I can do it again this week. It was a struggle, but I can do it. I absolutely HATE running, but it does wonders for weight loss and toning! Plus I really need to lose inches in my thighs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don't have much planned for this weekend. We're having wicked thunderstorms here right now. I am going to my grandparent's house for dinner and then have to stay and look after my cousin's dog there because my grandparents are going out with friends. Plus I have homework to do, so it's going to be a pretty lame weekend. Oh well!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'll be going to the gym either today or tomorrow, at some point. I was thinking about it on the way home, and I thought, "nah, I won't go." And then I kept thinking about it and changed my mind. I got home, got into my workout clothes, and went straight away.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It was the worst run ever. I felt so weak, and I struggled to get through the first 20 minutes. I felt like my throat was closing up, and it hurt. So I stopped for 1 minute, drank some water, and then ran another 20 minutes. The second half was a lot better, I found. All in all, it was a struggling 40 minutes of running. Oh well! And to think, the last time I ran was Saturday. Hmm.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One of the reasons why I didn't want to go to the gym was because I had a midterm to write. I ended up writing it when I got home from the gym, and I scored 81%! YAY!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Eurydice (Cali) informed me that my comment thingy isn't working. Can anyone tell me why? Yaaay! I was very surprised, actually. I had only ran on Saturday and Sunday, and I saved up about 24 flex points for beer at the party on Tuesday night, but I ended up throwing it up. Plus, on Thursday night, I went out to East Side Marios and ordered orrechiette genovese alfredo (which is the best dish I've ever had there -- you MUST try it!) which was 20 points, although I only had 11 to spend, I went over my flex by a little. And I avoided the bread, which has always been really hard for me to do. However, yesterday I passed up lunch with the crew (chicken wings and fries) and pizza at dinner with the fam jam, and I drank water all night. Yaaaaaay! I'm so happy!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As for goals, I'm trying to get to 158 by August 22nd. I have 7 weeks to lose 12.6 lbs. Umm, very obtainable! I'm not going to put pressure on myself though. If I even lose 10 lbs by then, I'll be very happy! That means I'll have lost ALL my freshman weight! Yay!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;How is everyone else doing out in bloggerland? It's been hard for me to get used to writing on a consistent basis, but I hope that people are actually reading my blog (I haven't gotten any feedback yet, so I was just wondering). :)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today I'm studying all day because I have a midterm on Wednesday. Tomorrow my mom and I are going to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival to see &lt;a href="http://www.stratfordfestival.ca/plays/macbeth.cfm"&gt;MACBETH&lt;/a&gt; starring Colm Feore. I found this dress a while ago at Guess which I thought was really cute. (http://www.guess.ca/ProductDetails.aspx?style=Y9274800000&amp;amp;category|751=&amp;amp;image=Y9274800000-MKMT) So I went and bought a black Guess cardigan to go over top of it, and these gorgeous silver sandals! Plus I have a necklace, so I think I'm all set. I just hope I'm not the one overdressed person at the party! Hmm. I mean, it's a summer dress, and it's not formal, so I guess it has to be casual then?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today's menu was pretty great. I had gone to Lococo's on the weekend to get lots of fresh fruit. I had multigrain Cheerios and skim milk for breakfast, a caesar salad for lunch, and snacks were fresh pineapple, strawberries, blackberries, and a clementine. Dinner was 1 cup whole wheat spaghetti and a little bit of meat sauce made with lean ground beef. I still have 4 points left! Wow! That never usually happens.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No gym today. After my mall escapade, I'm way too tired and don't want to go out. Plus I went Saturday and Sunday.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On Thursday night, my work crew and I are going out to East Side Mario's for dinner. I've saved up 9 flex, and I'm also saving 24 flex for the 8 beers I plan to have tomorrow night at the party... haha. Drunk, but not too drunk. So I've used 2 flex in 3 days? Uhhh... that also never happens. Boo! What is wrong with Mother Nature? Doesn't she know that I work outside all day? How cruel. On the bright side, at least it won't be as hot as it was last week. I'm tired of feeling all sweaty and disgusting at work!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I got up this morning around 8:30ish, had breakfast, and then went straight to the gym. Did i want to? Noooo. I would've much rather went back to sleep as I was still yawning when I left the house. Since I did a 40-minute run yesterday, I only did a 30-minute run today. I'm trying to prevent any injuries, especially shin splints, cause I know how much of a pain they are.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm still using Weight Watchers online AND going to meetings, since my scale at home is whackkk. Totally not accurate at all. I figure it's worth the $15 every week until I'm back down to 167 if it's going to keep me on track. It seems to be the only solution.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I think my crew from work is going out for dinner this week sometime, and I'm definitely not going to have the flex for it, because I'm saving those so I can drink at the party on Tuesday night. Hmm. The place of choice for this dinner seems to be East Side Marios, which is excellent, because I know they have a special part of the menu with nutritional info on it. This means I can have a 500 calorie dinner and not have to worry about not knowing how many calories I'm eating. Yay!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Doing homework for the rest of the day, and then we're having meatloaf for dinner. Yay AND nay.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Is it weird that I'm still nervous to go to work tomorrow? I'M BACK!</title><content type='html'>I'm so excited.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I actually hauled my bum to my meeting this morning and am back at it full swing! I had previously been trying to get back on the wagon, but every week I seemed to mess up. I had skipped the gym for 2 whole weeks. But I went today, and had a great 40-minute run! I really did not feel like working out, but after I did, I felt so much better. I swear, if I had a treadmill in my basement, I'd be set! We have these new Cybex treadmills at the gym, and they each have their own TV! I plug my headphones in, tune into Slice TV, and and watch something like "The Last 10 lbs Bootcamp" or, like today, "Millionaire Matchmaker" and "The Real Housewives of Orange Country." It's such a great way to pass the time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As for personal stuff... it's been a rough summer so far. My boyfriend broke up with me right as soon as we had moved home for the summer (end of April). It was the most miserable day of my life. I had just fallen in love with him, and told him so, but he was so willing to just give me up. There were a lot of problems in our relationship as well. I was giving, he was selfish. He didn't care enough, I cared too much. He was a jackass, and I was the nice one. I loved him, he didn't love me. Friends tried to convince me he was using me for sex, which I wouldn't be surprised if he was. Then after that, another crushing blow came when he didn't invite me to his huge birthday bash, even though after we broke up, we said we'd be friends. He claimed he didn't want things to be awkward... so I cut him off. I realized that he was the one who was holding me back from enjoying my summer. He has always had such control over my emotions that I just couldn't do it anymore, so we are no longer talking. Come September, he'll be living in a house with 2 of my really good friends, so I'm sure we'll run into each other, and I want to look smashing by then! I am amazed at how good I feel when I don't talk to him.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don't fit into any of my clothes. I literally have nothing to wear at this present moment, except 2 pairs of Lululemon capris, 1 pair of Lululemon pants, and a few shirts. My jean shorts from last summer, all of them, do not fit me correctly right now. I hate it. It makes me feel so much worse about myself, but I know I have to make a change, and I am. I just wish my damn clothes fit! Arggh.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I work outside all day, from 7 to 3:30, and I cut grass. Which I am allergic to. So I dope myself up on Reactine in the morning before I head off to work. It's a great job, physically, and I'm always walking a lot and carrying a Stihl line trimmer with me everywhere. Plus I have a really bitching farmer's tan. Hurrah?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tuesday night, there's a "grass party" - so all of us grass-cutting kids are getting together to drink. And me and my new crush are going to be there. Boy oh boy. He is tres cute. We have spoken once, and I don't know why it was only the one time. I went out into the yard one morning to begin work, and he was at his truck. As i passed, he said, "Good morning Jenny, why weren't you at the party last night? We missed you." My instant reaction was, uhh, you know my name? No one calls me Jenny. We spoke for a minute, and that was 2 weeks ago. We have not spoken since. I'm always around, and he notices me, but he doesn't say anything. Why? Last night, I know that someone from work told him that I liked him. Or she was going to tell him, at least. My friend told me "Do you ever think that maybe she's telling him you like him because there's the chance that he might like you back?" No, I did not think that. Hmm. I wonder what is going to happen on Monday... I hope things aren't mighty awkward between us. But maybe he will actually talk to me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm planning on hitting the gym tomorrow as the weather is supposed to be really crummy. Boourns.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm out for the night to watch some TV.
